Why do people even play CSGO? It's terrible

Honestly yes, the matchmaking is ♥♥♥♥, the players and the community are mostly ♥♥♥♥, however there is such big hype around it and so many people are playing it now that those cons don't really matter to most. Being able to win cases and gain money from playing might also be a big factor on this. The game is sometimes unbearable these days. Just like the russians.
