Also a bug? Never heard of it. You really think in around 2001/2002 people changed to MR system (before it was based on a timelimit and not actually max round based) and while starting to use the rcon command maxrounds they had a bug which didn't let people play to mr15, but 12? Explain that.

No. There was no "official" MR12 or MR15. You could just hop on a Server with infinite MR.
MR12 was forced by E-League CPL. They switched it back because of a lot of reasons, one of them was a Money "bug". T survived without planting the Bomb -> CTs wouldnt get money and had Problems in the next Round. Had to ECO. So you only need to "use" this and trash the economy of CTs. Problem with MR12 then was, you had no chance to comeback from it.
Pistol Rounds -> you lost Pistol Round -> you had to ECO 2 Rounds -> Lose the next Round -> 0:4 which is 1/3 of the half, just by losing pistol.
If halftime was 4:8 and the enemy Team won the Pistol after switch, most Games went 4:13. Just a few reasons on why it went to MR15.
Later on people figured out MR15 suites better to CS. Less Saving Rounds, more force buys and Gamble Plays, even later with economy Changes, more Gun Rounds, even more less saving rounds. More AWP Plays, comebacks, etc. etc. etc.
That's why Valve (with CS:GO) took MR15 as "offical" and most agreed with it, because it made the Game better.
Even on Community Severs Back then, people played more MR15 and Above then MR12, because it just was Bad

Yes. mr12 is 1.6 wasn't good. That was exactly what I was saying and why they increased the rounds so the pistolround in total has less impact. You repeat what I said.
In CSGO it changed drastically so that mr15 isn't necessary anymore. And even pros say they are very tired after bo5 and even bo3 because mr15 is very long.
What you said is that mr12 is trash IN GENERAL. But now you say mr12 WAS trash in 1.6 for economy reasons which I already explained why that was.
Everyone wins with csgo's mr12. Yes. Every. One.
- the casuals because they don't have to commit to thar long matches
- the viewer of matches because it is less long and repetitive
- the pros because they aren't that tired
- the entire communkty because bo5's finally are .ore attractive again
There is exactly zero - ZERO - drawbacks. Since the economy doesn't play a big role. As I explained already. T's with bomb plant but got defused have a better buy than CT who won. T's who lost without bombplant still can force or eco once. CTs can eco or just buy one tiny thing like a föash, a cz, zeus etc.
Also one thing which I didn't mention yet: In 1.6 you not only had less money, no, you also had weaker guns. In CSGO you can buy a p250, cz, tec9, 57, mac10, mp9, zeus, deagle - you have so many very strong weapons. And that is why we see so many force buy and eco wins. In 1.6 the losing team could barely buy a deagle. And maybe one out of 50 deagle buys were won. In CSGO it is more like 1 out of 7. That is just a guess based on the last major and iem where constantly force buyer won the rounds.
So many arguments in favor of mr12 in csgo. And I haven't yet seen one argument against it.

With MR12 and the current economy you'll still have less Comebacks, less AWPs, less Gamble Plays, less forces. Less Time for Teams to switch Tactics, etc.
A lot "more" less of everything as you can see.
You need to change the Economy complete with MR12 again, Pistol round will again be Crucial to every Half. Soon after people will start Crying again an wanting to get rid of Pistol rounds.
You will see more boring Savings.
You need to stop seeing MR15 as just additional 3 Rounds.
Those 3 rounds spread over the whole match are making it possible to comeback, upset, make plays, ecos, etc. Those 3 Rounds are bringing room for new tactics, trying things.
With MR12 the Space for the above is way more less.
Just think about it -> now 10:5 Halftime, the leading team needs 6 more Rounds to win.
Leading Team wins Pistol 11:5 / 12:5 -> Still needs 4 Rounds to win. You can lose 1-2 Rounds and still break even or even win. Way "easier".
MR12 -> 8:4 the leading team only needs 5 more Rounds. Leading Team wins Pistol.
9:4 / 10:4 -> Still needs only 3 Rounds to win. As the Team which is behind, you cant afford to lose any more rounds, because it will lead you to another ECO, Halfbuy, etc. 1 Round maybe left then.
On Paper this might seem not a big deal, but in the actual game it is.
You'll see way more 13:4. Because the Team behind has it way harder to comeback.
Keep in Mind 3 Rounds less = 3 Possible Forces, Economy Resets, etc. less. in Mid to Lategame of a Map.
Then you'll have the new "buymenu" where you have to pick a Loadout. With MR15 i dont see a Problem here. With MR12 there is a huge Problem, because your loadout is smaller. Not enough money for Deagle? Oh you dont have 5-7 in your Loadout...unlucky....have fun in full ECO.
Sorry that Pros are crying because they are Tired after a match is not an Argument. They are Pros, earning money with it. If you want E-Sports to be accepted as a real Sports....this is by far the wrongest way possible. Maybe they should start working out ans stop drinking "gaming Booster". Funny how an old pleb like me is not tired after play 3 Maps in a row on FaceIT.....Give me the chance to play a Major and i couldn't care less on how long 1 Map plays. This is just the usual Pro Crying stuff.
And not an Argument within itself. But why do you think we have MR15 for a least a Decade? Because People liked it, it made the Game Better, it made it what it is right now. A well balanced, Action- Rich, Top Shelf FPS - It made Count-Strike THE Competitive E-Sports Game. And you really want Less of this?
