I think cs2 is in beta tests, and there's not many players is using controllers. Mayby in official not (beta version) it will work.

Yes, i tried to play with the controller cs2 and seems that i need to wait until the support it will be available.. On cs1 i didn't had this problem :)

Yes you can it's called getting good. been slapping cheaters using Keyboard and mouse on Console and Legit via crossplay in multiple FPS without aim assist on controller for over 3 years. AND I SUCK. So if I can do it, ANYONE can with enough effort and practice.

so, i played with a controller and a mouse on csgo.. i know weird but ive always been a dedicated controller player. went to try cs2 and it wont let me anymore.

i used my left hand on the controller to look around, crouch, use etc and the mouse to aim, shoot etc.

Is there possibility to totally disable controllers? I have hotas connected and its super annoying because it sometimes starts to drift left and when it starts doing that the only way to stop that is to disconnect the controllers.

yes, it's possible without disconnecting controllers physically:
for CS2 specifically — go to game's Properties in your Steam library, go to Controller tab and select "Disable Steam Input"
for the entire system — (assuming you are on Windows) search for "devmgmt.msc" in your search box, expand "Human interface devices", right-click on each "HID-compliant game controller" and press "Disable device" (if you will want to use your controllers later, just come here again and press "Enable device" instead)

Hi guys - just so you know, I've been able to effectively use a Logitech G29 steering wheel since my controller wasn't working right. If you set rotation to minimum (below 180 degrees) you can 360 no problem.
