please help with CS 2 keybind issue

Hi all. I got the invite today and downloaded it! However, after opening CS 2 I went to check my key-binds. While scrolling i somehow miss-clicked and bound "toggle console" to mouse 1, aka left click. I can no longer left click anything in CS 2.

Left clicking should open the console since that's what its bound to now, but it does nothing whatsoever. From the shift+tab menu I joined my friend in a death match and tried everything I could to open the console but nothing happened. I know there's a few console commands I can try like "unbindall"but the is no way to open the console while in CS 2. all other key-binds besides left click and open console appear to be working.

I deleted my entire cfg folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo, then verified my files, to no avail. I have steam cloud off so that it cant sync my settings and I've deleted the entire steam folder from %appdata% but that didn't help either.

I've googled all over and I cant find any way to reset my keybinds that doesn't involve the console, being able to left click in game, or deleting files I've already deleted. I've reinstalled fresh too, no dice.

My only theory is that the CS 2 files are not in the CSGO folder and thats why deleting the config does nothing, but i can't find CS files anywhere else and I'm just pissed as hell and stumped at this point. I tried to submit a ticket but all it will let me do is post here. Hopefully some kind sole can help me out!!! I'm all out of ideas. Thanks in advance <3

unfortunately i dont have that file in my cfg folder. "user_default" & "settings_default" are the closest to that. both files are identified as "screensaver" by file explorer and have no "open with" option in the context menu. changing the file extension to .cfg doesnt change anything and the files still identify as screensavers. runing them just makes a popup that says "this app cant run on your pc"

I have the same issue...i deleted the game and steam and all folders...and it reset the bind...but i lost the ability to press click on cs 2.....like it s reseted i can see in cs go and in cs 2...but can t clik nothing ahahhahaha

There is a folder u need to edit..and erase the config u made....program files x86..steam.user data..the last acc used folder look by date..local.cfg.should be some folders named cs2_user_keys_0_slot 0 1 2 3 etc...check them and edit where u find the bind..ckear it.and save .when u launch the game will ask for local settings or cloud choose local settings
