You can in theory, by replacing the DX9 files either in your windows or in the game directory (can't be bothered to check right now where they're stored) with the ones you can find on the DXVK github page - however that might cause some issues regarding file signature vaildation

tried this but the game wont launch then. but even with dx9 vsync doesnt work, frame limit doesnt work, cant enable motion blur and fxaa. its really weird.

those have not worked for quite a while

damn. i even get coil whines from this and gpu goes crazy max tdp. i have a feeling this game is killing gpus, not playable that way. feels like somethings broken. i didnt remember it to be that way.

i dont know your hardware setup but if you feel the gpu is being pushed too hard you can limit fps with fps_max

yeah i know i changed it with console and launch options but it has no effect. in menu yes, but ingame not anymore i think. its really weird. no vsync and no fps limit worked.

i am confused

there is no option to limit fps in the game menu unless you mean vsync

i think i fixed it now, had bad launch option, but it still runs so bad somehow. btw theres fps_max_menu, i think you can limit main menu fps with it.
