Case drop rates?

Has the Case drop rates been improved or nerfed, last time i played csgo, it was case drop at every match basically, now i just don´t get it, after certain Comp matches (wins) you may get a case? And what about the skins, there were skin drops aswell i can´t remember whether it was Base grade or Consumer grade, how do you earn them?

Now case drop happens when you level up first time in any given week (which starts on late Tuesday/Wednesday - depending on time zone). The same with skins - there are few different collections of them, google "active dropping skins collection". So after leveling up you'll get two drops at once - a case and a skin.

But what if someone reaches max level? Can´t they recieve drops anymore then?

You can reset your level. I’m not sure how leveling up works when at max and if you can but it’s better to reset because you get a badge as well

it used to be 1-2 cases per week (3 cases if you crazy lucky) ,now its just 1 case+skin per week after lvl up.Thats it

Oh, that´s a bit dissapointing, so i have to buy cases on market if i want to open some. Okay thanks for replying and explaining guys.
