1vs1 Warm-up in CS2: Yes or No?
I personally hope not.

Without fail, every match where the map has the 1vs1 warm-up, there's at least 1 player who's AFK 1st round, if not more.

Do people really prefer 1vs1, or would you rather have the map to practice with while you wait for everyone to join.

Personally, I feel as though people are far more engaged with the whole map and less likely to join, think they have 3-4 minutes to pee or grab a snack, but then miss half of the first round.

The 1v1 warm-up is much more enjoyable than repeatedly getting spawnkilled in Office until the warmup ends.

If someone is AFK, they'll usually come back after you headshot them a few times because of how loud that is.

Being stuck in a confined space with someone who's try-harding too much isn't more enjoyable.

And head shotting a teammate because they're AFK isn't a solution.

1vs1 warm-up needs to die.

Your teammates aren't in the same room as you during 1v1 warmup.

I see, so you're just talking nonsense. My point still stands.

So far we have access to the full map at warm up with access to the weapons via 16000K so its of the old.
But its beta and that could change at any point. Except for the awful sound cues on overpass, and fps dips right before a gun fight which takes getting used too.
it almost feels like its in the finishing stages before release, Which could bring fun fun fun.

Nope,
If you go AFK then you will get your ears blasted with headshot sounds.
I prefered the old warmup.
But this is rather subjective and should be treated as such.
Another fact worth mentioning is that there are other issues that should be ironed out with higher priority.

Absolutely, more important things to address.

To clarify, I'm not talking about people going AFK during warm-up. I'm talking about people who go AFK during warm-up, but then don't make it back in time and are AFK during the start of the actual game.

This happens in I'd say 99% of the matches I play with these 1vs1 warm-up modes.

People aren't as engaged and so wander off to do other things while the timer say something like 4:39. Then everyone joins and the 1 minute count down starts, meaning the game begins while they're still in the bathroom / kitchen / helping their mom in with the shopping.

True - the amount of times people try-hard in warm-ups and then play like ass in the match is laughable :D

I would personally prefer a spectator role while waiting for everyone to join a match instead of warming up 1 vs 1. Like, if I really need a proper warm-up I will play a few Deathmatch games.

Perhaps a setting where you can choose which warm up you want and then players with the same settings are put into a match?

No kid, I mean I'll try hard in the game, not in an irrelevant box. I'd Rather play the map I'm about to try and win on.
