ALT accounts should be forbidden

There are players who have +50 profiles...it just doesn´t make any sense anymore. @Valve can you do something about this "problem"?

Agreed. Most people I see with multiple accounts are all for ban evading, cheating, smurfing, scamming and scummy behavior in general

But it just makes this game so much worse. I met couple days a cheater who had over 70 alt accounts. You can guess what happens if one profile will be banned?

Jup just recently they upgrade the steam authenticator app to switch fast between accounts.

Same with the steam client.

There is no issue with having multiple accs as long someone does not break any rules (cheating, scamming, etc.).

I myself also have a hand full of steam accs. I'm a person who likes having multiple things and switch things up. I also have 130+ chars in WoW. I don't get why some people only see their universe and can't accept that people have different preferences and that their preference isn't the only acceptable one.

Best thing they could do is to make a Prime account more exclusive and actually mean something. Let people have as many free accounts as they want, but make a Prime account like $25 with required two-step verification that restricts users to one account per phone number or whatever.

Alt accounts also ruin the rank system. Global can make as many new accounts as he wants and smurf with his friends...I have seen +50 kill silvers when rest of the team will hardly get 5 kill each.

A few people do use alt accounts for legitimate purposes but i see that they majority of alts i see here are people trolling and the fact that they are using an alt means their main won't get banned. 100% agree on this

smurfing is fun, but you gotta do it like me and smurf on your main. then people can laugh at your 3000 hours and silver rank, then rage when you running 1tap them,

speaking of which, im pretty sure my mmr is broken. nothing but LE and DMGs and MGs.... vs my silverness :(

True skilled player would never do like that. They respect new comers and let everyone play their own skill level. That´s why rank system is made my friend.
