Got Community Banned from Commenting on Someone's Profile

I wanted to buy a skin on Buff and it was time sensitive, so I sold another skin of mine through Buff and commented on the buyer's profile to get him to accept the offer as soon as possible. Next thing I know, I'm community banned.

Anyone experienced this before? Really hope that my account can be reverted to its original state as I do not have any malicious intents, I was just a bit impatient thats all.

Were you trying to purchase the trader's skins with real money through buff? If so yeah, that'll get you banned if you're posting publicly. It's how people get scammed. Stick to trading items for items when discussing on Steam. Never say you'll purchase their skins.

Edit: I have to dance around keywords otherwise you'll see my comments being hidden... It seems it's so against the rules I can't even say the word without it being hidden by analysis. That took about 20 minutes for it to finally go through.

Mentioning any kind of financial compensation for skins will probably get you automatically banned since it's against the Steam Online Conduct.
Just look at the comments above. They can't even explain the issue without the content check to block everything

Is the ban permanent? Is it possible that I can recover my account? I was selling an item on Buff to this guy and commented on his profile asking him to accept my trade offer ASAP as I was trying to get another skin that was kinda rare and what felt like it was time sensitive that I buy it ASAP.

That's a question you need to ask the Steam Support and not the community forums. They'll tell you if it's just a temporary ban and how you can possibly resolve the issue.

That means either it was posting malicious things or it upvoted some content, reviews, workshop items, screenshots or artwork that were used to do the same malicious things.
