Do you use launch options?
-novid - Removes the initial video that appears the Counter-Strike: Global offensive logo and takes you straight to the game.
-high - The computer sets Counter-Strike as priority.
-nod3d9ex1 - Optimizes the Alt+Tab process.
-tickrate 128 - Sets the local server to 128 ticks, but is only valid in training servers.
-threads - Makes it possible to use the processor's threads; replace x with the desired number.
-fps_max_menu 999 - Limits the maximum FPS of the game menu. Useful to avoid large FPS swings.
-freq X -Sets the game's refresh rate (we recommend using the same refresh rate as your monitor).
-nojoy - Prevents the use of controls in CS, increasing the RAM space for CS:GO.
-mat_queue_mode 2 - Forces the computer to use multinuclear rendering.
-fps_max 999 - Limits the maximum FPS the game can run. Useful to avoid large FPS fluctuations.
-forcenovsync - Disables VSync.
-console - Enables the use of the console via '.
-w X -h X - Changes the resolution of the game, e.g. -w 1920 and -h 108 sets the game to 1920x1080.

Yes

-console -novid -tickrate 128 -nojoy -w 1280 -h 1080 +exec autoexec.cfg +clientport 27025
Hamsterpeek Jul 2, 2023 @ 7:43am
-novid -high -w 1280 -h 1024
But honestly only the first one is important. Anything else is in the video.txt and autoexec.
.xite~ Jul 2, 2023 @ 7:44am
-novid +mat_queue_mode 2 -freq 144 -Heapsize 8388608 -nothreadsockets
open autoexec.cfg and copy paste
cl_use_opens_buy_menu "0"
net_threaded_socket_burst_cap ""
net_threaded_socket_recovery_rate ""
net_threaded_socket_recovery_time ""

start game and enjoy 30-50% more fps.
If u notice in Match your fps is slighty lower then usual try this command in console
"logaddress_add 1"

You are hilarious. You understand that different people have different habits and needs when it comes to launch options, right?

-console # Allows me to get back into a game faster if I get disconnected, or if Steel Series Sonar crashes and I have to restart

-novid # Intro annoys the hell out of me

-tickrate 128 # I need to change this for Surfing, so it's very handy (102.4)

-nojoy # It doesn't hurt to save a small amount of Ram.

-w 1280 -h 1080 # Saves time setting the resolution on a fresh install, since I enter the startup options anyway

+exec autoexec.cfg # Everyone who has racked up enough hours was at a point where their settings were gone, it's just here to make sure that doesn't happen

+clientport 27025 # Of course, when I play locally with friends or team mates, etc., we can't all use the same client port, and since 27026 is my prac server and 27027 is my replay
server (which is not related to this the slightest), I remember it easily, even without looking it up or could change it fast.

The fact that they've even saved in Steam for a while now means that I don't actually have to enter them at all.

"You are hilarious"
When the first sentence already gives away the type of person you're and you already lose all your credibility in the first sentence. Since I have a basic respect even for those who insult me I still read through it. Needless to say that in a working environment you'd already be gone.

- Console can be openend by using ^ (QWERTZ keyboard, since you're from germany).
- novid - I literally use that comment
- tickrate - Congratz you use 128 tick as tenthousands of player who join workshop server to train utility lineups or other stuff. I don't need it since I barely play faceit and with CS2 it's not necessary anymore anyway
- nojoy Not necessary
- res - I have this in my launch option too, imagine trying to find an argument against someone who uses the same thing. Still not necesasry. Because it's in the video.txt file.
- autoexect What are you talking about? I said I use autoexec. You can just write it in the cfg instead of launch option. It doesn't matter. Same as res.
- clientport Incredible rare obstacle that 99% of the community never needs and even you admitted you barely need it and just have it in there for convenience matters

So all in all I'm not hilarious, you're just very nitpicky and seem to have a personal vendetta against me and thought it's a good idea to start argueing in this thread.

Calm down.

Just someone who can't accept that people have different opinions and he has to vent because he somehow thought it's a direct personal insult or whatever.

Typical for any forum.

Calm down.

I have no idea who you are, but it appears that you work in some bad countryside company then. In any real company, HR would sit both of us down to talk things out under their watch, since that is literally childish and immature behavior, so if you are serious, that sounds not like a good work environment, not meant in any way offensive. If you think I mean any of this aggressive, that is your interpretation. No offense, but if you aren't able to understand this in English, it is not an insult but dismissive or a bit mocking. Let's compare this to an insult that is unrelated to you: 'You're so narrow-minded and ignorant that it's embarrassing.' And you should be able to see the difference, I hope.

It is objectively not you who decides if somebody needs a launch option or not. If I want to change tickrate to surf, it is very important for me not to type out the entire option but only change the numbers. Obviously, if I play Faceit, it is important to me to rejoin as fast as possible since it has happened a lot that when I join, my teammates were just moving out of spawn, and the round has started. This is what falls under 'need.' It doesn't matter if you do not need the console launch option since you do not have such a situation or that you don't practice utility. Congratulations, you do not NEED it. Others may, and it is not up to you to decide how important that is for everyone, it depends. So I hope you understand this part.

The other half is habit. Yes, I do not need -nojoy, but it is a personal habit that you have no business in. You can feel free to say it's not important, but I like it. If you can't understand that, I do not understand how else I could explain this. Another note: if you think it doesn't matter, then go play CS2 instead of writing under a post from somebody who does have a minimum interest and wants to somewhat know if somebody uses launch options, or should we all leave the forum because you think it doesn't matter? Obviously not, and neither should you go. If you read something over the internet, it is generally hard to convey the way people talk.

So you might understand now this part: 'You understand that different people have different habits and needs when it comes to launch options, right?'

And no, I do not have a personal vendetta against you. If you make some absolutistic claims, you are not different from a flat earther or other conspiracy theorist to me who also gets criticized the same way. If you make a statement in public, you can get criticized for it, especially if it is implying a plain ridiculous and laughable answer, which is why you are hilarious to me. The same way any proponents of absolutistic financial deregulation pre-2008 are hilarious... or even in that case outrageous

Like when you say stuff like 'Workshop Server' is not a word that is usually used, as there are listen and dedicated servers that run or host workshop maps, and generally, it is said that way. But again, I do not decide what is the correct form. If you say it or have a group of friends who say it like that, okay, it's preference and it depends on many things anyway, even beyond that. It doesn't matter if the majority of people would never say 'Workshop Server.' This is not how Language or preferences, habits and needs work... (*Cough 'somewhat' unless you're talking about languages such as French or similar resistant ones)
