Please review how you are logging into Steam, you somehow gave them your log in information. This could of been due to the computer being compromised and redirecting to a fake login, or you using a 3rd party site to login to steam.
Took this from another forum where guy got scammed out of 574 skins allegedly. The last part is for scamming websites that get your login credentials if I am not mistaken. I would just check that in case.
man idk. Already reported the guy cause i can see his inventory which literally has my skins there ahhaha. But whatever contacted steam support and we see what will happen next.
They will not give you your stuff back. They use to back in the day but so many were abusing it to duplicate their stuff so they stopped that process. Definitely report that account though and follow those steps I listed to secure your account again. I would advise 2 step auth since it does not seem you have it set up for you not to know someone was in your account.
Edit: Be careful with trading if you ever decide to. With an apparent announcement of CSGO 2 coming eventually the market is going to be booming ( hence the rise of spam trading posts which is most likely scammers). Never use 3rd party sites. If they ask you to trade outside of Steam they are a scammer most likely. That is why you see so many spamming the forums atm. Valve is gonna have fun getting rid of all those posts.
Ok man thank you. No worries. 200 euro more or less idc. Will cop something new later and use your advice. sad but what can we do. Anyways god will punish him haha. You think with source 2 everything will be crazy more expensive?
Honestly, I am not 100% sure. I have heard the skins are going to port over and heard opposite as well. That is why all these scammers are going nuts in forums. I have a feeling due to it bringing in more player base skin prices are going to rocket. Now if it gets flooded because scammers are actually getting peoples skins then the market will crash. Either way I am not selling / trading nothing. Last time I did a trade was in 2010 maybe 2011 I traded a hat in TF2 and the guy bought me L4D2.
Anyways whatever. imagine that he stole the skins ahahah and they become worthless. Anyways thx for help. I will just buy new ones
