As i said the fps long time ago was pretty good 300+, now its going from 200 to 100, and my monitor is 170hz
I have CPU at stock settings, boosting to 3775MHz all core in CSGO. And my RX580 is Sapphire Nitro+ undervolted to 1070mV with stock GPU: 1411MHz MEM: 2000MHz.
And with 32GB 3200MHz HyperX memory.
I can only tell you that I haven't updated my Windows for like a year now, and also using GPU drivers released on april of 2022.
Mostly running my games on 1080p low settings with 2x AA.
Check launch options + configs, fps_max is at 120??
Reinstall steam/cs/configs?
Try to make alt account to check if the fps is higher (usually is on another acc)
He said hes got the issue in other games, so CSGO isnt the problem.
Yeh defo your PC then. Did you check temp on your CPU? Also would be useful if you check CPU on task manager (go performance>CPU and check 'show logical processors' on right mouse button menu). When you play the game, is once CPU maxed?
Interesting find. If resolution has no impact, then thats an indicator your GPU performance isnt the culprit. Did you check that you dont have vsync forced in the GPU driver, that could limit fps to 120?
