Why are the animations so bad?

lets face it , they suck,most popular online fps game and these animations are dog poop.
Honestly even valorant has much better animations, even games like fallout have better.

the cz75 reload makes my head spin, In M4 reload the charging handle doesnt move anywhere!!
The ak animations are so stiff it looks my grandma look like usain bolt
why arent we as a community asking for an update to this games ♥♥♥♥♥♥ anmations

call of duty 2 from 2004 has better reload animations, maybe valve just frekin sucks

Because the animations have nothing to do with the gameplay, people don't play this game for the graphical content.

animations are not graphics

l4d2 on same engine has beter animations with mods

My guy, you're comparing a game that came out in 2022 to a game that came out in 2012 so that ♥♥♥♥'s more of a compliment than a critique and more importantly, that's just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ opinion.
If you want a fair comparison look at black ops 2's animation, they are about the same quality.

If you aren't having fun because of the animations, you can always take a break and have fun with another game. CSGO will still be here when you get back.

The animations in csgo still hold up.
They give csgo a certain feel, it's satisfying.

Answer: CSGO was actually a port of CSS to consoles. The game isn't even made by Valve, but by Hidden Path entertainment. The game was made 11 years ago. The game wasn't made to become this big. I'm hoping the source 2 update revamps it.
