Adding the ability to trade skins in a market is one of the worse things to ever happen to CS:GO. Mostly because scamming has reached an all-time high due to this thanks to all the malicious people just trying to trick people to get their skins and accounts. Big reason why Valve doesn't even bother to help you get any lost items and if you get scammed or tricked, that is 100% on you.
This doesn't exist in VALORANT and I'm super glad. I'd rather just buy whatever skins I want and leave it at that. Just a really crappy trading scene and market that does nothing but prey on people.
Exactly, pro players (even CS:GO pros) have all said this, VALORANT is the harder game when compared to CS:GO. Especially since they keep adding new agents with abilities that completely changes the META to keep things fresh, which I enjoy. Plus, unlike Valve, Riot Games continues to update the game to perfection, add new maps, listen to the community feedback for future changes, and so much more.
It's leaps and bounds more than anything Valve has done over the past decade with CS:GO and VALORANT has only been around for a few years. If Valve doesn't do something with a new iteration of Counter-Strike now, in 2-3 years tops, VALORANT will be the biggest competitive shooter in the world and they haven't even added crossplay/crossplatform with consoles yet.
1. Competitive Integrity /Basically 0 rng in high level play
2.Solid and snappy Gunplay mechanics
3.Solid Movement mechanics
4.Better server registry on 64tik than valorants 128tik
5.Skill cap is massive
Valorant =
1.Rng gunplay
2.floaty delayed gunplay mechanics
3.ugly cartoon player model animations and horribly designed movement
4.Garbage proprietary Riot netcode ='ing crazy peakers advantage and noticable changes in connection to server across games.
5.Skill cap only gets expanded to the likes of regular cs while playing with teammates you practice with.
6. Riot is owned by the chinese communist party and has super shady over generalized contracts in place with regards to the recording of comms and use of account information in addition to those recorded comms. The rootkit anticheat also doesnt make it any better. I might be okay with it from a company like valve,.. but from a shady enterprise like riot.. not so much.
Their are many other reasons I could list on why valorant is mid and subpar, especially when compared to the god father of tactical shooters.
Its so funny people debate this. The only reason val even has a pro scene at all is becasue of cs streamers and pros that wernt good enough anymore and saw the free cash flow.
Anyway, the subpar snowflake gamers can enjoy their slot machine kids game that makes them feel good when they get a hs handed to them and leads them on to keep playing by giving them free wins and us real men with hair on our chests and wemon by our side will keep playing a real competitive game that will no doubt outlast the competition for another 20+years.
Side note// I've solo queued to global and immortal 3 on multiple accounts// Probably the only valorant player to never paint his nails //
SIDEBAR. the only factor about val's gunplay that is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ is that 0.2% hit randomizer on the gun first shot accuracy. idk why that is in the game, that needs to go.
lets see LOL VS Dota2, they are both lose, the winner is Honor of Kings, a mobile MOBA
so the winner is R6S mobile. a mobile FPS game
My guy its a backend update to the engine. Itll be either somewhat bugged or severely bugged, probably wont release to everyone immediately, and it wont change the game immediately. Itll probably take valve a solid year or two to start taking full advantage of Source 2.
Im not saying this to be a ♥♥♥♥ or just to hate valve. Its just the reality of the update. It wont change the gameplay too much and it will take a while before we see the full extent of source 2s impact on the game. Itll improve lighting and if we're lucky that'll make the skins look better.
Oh no, you're 100 percent right about that! This is one of the gripes I have with Valve, every other major gaming developer always has updates, transparency, and keeps everyone in the loop. LoL nothing but crickets from Valve and sure, this worked decades ago but now, it's all about getting hype and excitement around whatever games you're developing, updating, or maintaining. VALORANT, Fortnite, Rainbow 6 Siege, even PUBG keeps everyone updated on everything. It's sad Valve has NOTHING like this in place to at least keep us updated on what's being worked on.
It's very frustrating, to say the least. It's been weeks since the rumors came out and now I'm starting to think they were just that... fake rumors to create a buzz and far from the reality of the situation. There's a strong possibility nothing is coming at all.
I don't even know WHAT Valve will even do, if the rumors were even true to begin with. Will this be an update to CS:GO? Will this be a brand new Counter-Strike? Are they making it crossplay/crossplatform with consoles? What will happen with all our skins and items?
Your guess is as good as mine and as I said, it's just really annoying and frustrating we're kept out of the dark like this. Awe well. VALORANT it is until I have a reason to actually come back to Counter-Strike.
I just want to know what is ultimately going on, frustrating that instead of just laying it all out there with planned dates and transparency, they're just getting the community up in a frenzy by changing logos on Twitter. Here's to hoping it happens soon as I'd love to leave VALORANT to play a newer and better Counter-Strike again...
