Please valve add pets that sit on your hat or pocket or backpack

and add dance taunts like in TF2

not rly. it became one after 1.6 got released. before that cs was just fun af. everybody had random skins. i remember rubberchickens as knifes or axe deodorant as grenades.
1.3 and 1.5 was the prime of counter strike.
if they would go back to that base id be so down for that :DDDD

thats your opinion. and i consider myself as a hardcore fan of cs even doe i stopped playing cs actively a long time ago. but i come back now and then.

cs was a fun game with focus on pcw's if u want to. everything else was just public deathmatch or just random public matches with ppl you used to know cuz you always played on the same servers.
Now everything is matchmaking or faceit/esea.

I mean back in the day we had esl gathers. With basically was like matchmaking but without the ranking system and pressure to win. Without crazy idiots who tilt af cuz they are about to lose their elo nobody cares about. etc

Idk how old you are but if u experienced old 1.5/early steam 1.6 times then youd def have to agree on that.

these skins could easiely be imported, didnt cost you any money. just visible for you.
ofc not allowed in official matches etc but literally everybody used these at some point just for fun.
you could also change the radio commands and turn this game into something new.
now valve tells you what cs is and if u want changes you have to pay for the smallest things.

i just remember lan partys with hours of poolparty, rats etc.
these times were golden. :D
ofc cs kept its core with 5on5 but it sacrificed everything else!

thank you, and i do not mean to have ridiculous taunts that can ruin or abuse gameplay, Dota2 TF2 has taunts and they do not ruin anything. And dances should not be like in Fortnite those are disgusting, taunts can be made serious for grown ups :)

The community server list is still there but nobody plays them anymore and valve doesn't care about them with the old steam server browser as a silent witness to that neglect.
Honestly for me the 1.3-1.6 days were the most fun as well. Still I don't find myself playing it anymore so it probably was the novelty of the experience that romanticizes my memory and not that it was a better game.

Also when you got some skill back in those days you would get banned from most servers by player admins so after a while it was hard to find servers with decent ping/players. I wouldn't want to go back to that again. Small penises and admin power don't mix very well.
