it is better to rollback windows to 8.1
there's of course a lot more problems that I've seen my friends had before they downgraded to 10 and that just people on the Internet had in general like game not launching at all or massive input lag as if the game was running windowed even in full-screen which are of course fixable, but why even update if everything works right now? to break it and then fix?
if you don't want windows 11 to ever forcibly be installed on your PC, you can either disable automatic Windows Update (search for guides on the Internet — you need Windows 10 Pro for that so you can access gpedit.msc, if you don't have Pro search for regedit guides of doing so) or you can go to bios and disable TPM if you can, which will make your PC kind of incompatible and maybe they will stop forcing you to update…?
noooo, it's basically worse than 10 in performance, you already can't disable Aero (to bypass DWM which uses forced double-buffering, therefore adding input lag to any windowed application) without too much problems, unlike you can in 7, and FaceIT anticheat for example won't run on it, and also some other programs like Source 2 SDK in case you would some day want to make a map for Dota 2/Alyx/CS:GO if it will ever be ported to Source 2
Probably the overwhelming majority of the "problems" crowd are simply parroting something they read/watched online rather than having any experience of their own.
Overall i like it more in games than Win10; But in CSGO - i don't see any difference between Win10.
The one main issue that i'm having with Win11 is that Nvidia drivers are wonky. Every driver update was a lottery, sometimes new driver just sticks in and everything is fine, sometimes new driver just crashes the games and gets random driver errors on the screen
