Skinwallet Scammers
Yesterday, I tried to conduct a transaction through skinwallet to sell my Ursus Knife - about $250. When trying to list an item on skinwallet, once you set the price of the item, a skinwallet bot sends you a trade offer for your item. Seems legit, right? Well, when I tried to accept the trade, it kept saying that it was declined on the website. However, a SECOND trade offer from the same bot, mind you, displaying the correct ID and Key for the transaction, would display. I tried to do it right 5 times, but it wasn't working, so I figured that I would just accept the second offer, being that that must be the way for skinwallet to get my item. Turns out, it was some random other person's account posing as the bot. My item is gone, skinwallet support is slow and likely won't be able to help me. I am honestly shocked at how I fell for this but simultaneously confused and almost proud that such a scheme was pulled off. I am only posting this hoping for some empathy from this sad, sad community. And also, to warn people: DO NOT USE SKINWALLET!

that site has been around for years, it's not the problem.

OP your API is captured and a scammer has control of your account, hopefully you'll follow the post above and be more careful next time. GLHF
