How long does it take to get a drop now??

1 weapon/graffiti per week on leveling up, resets every Tuesday/Wednesday midnight.

1 case drop every 7 days.
The first case will drop 100% with around 3-4 hours of gameplay, 7 days after your last 1º case drop. (check inventory history)

And a very very small chance for a 2nd case drop, but not 100%, you may idle 24/7 and still not get it.

When I did play regularly it did NOT take this long to get drops that's for sure. I never remember having to play 20+ games and 4 hours to get a single drop. At most it use to take 3 games. Hence my asking how long does it take now?

I'm not back technically though. I just tried my hand at getting a case. For all intents and purposes I'm back to haitus.

I wouldn't say it was an urgency. I'm not even mad I didn't get the case. I'm more upset it took 4 hours for a single drop. I feel so, so, SO mentally exhausted having to play this game again. I am definitely a gold nova now. Lol

Well in my experience it is o ly worth it to play for one lehel up per week because sometimes it takes like 10h of playtime to get the random drop, wouldn't go for it specificly.

Yeah you shouldn't play casual, play mm instead. :P We never played together!

That could be it too. Maybe there is a system in place that kind of punishes people who don't play for LONG periods of time making them play more to get drops. Idk

This game feels rough now though. I don't know what it is. I get 200+ frames, but there are some maps and locations where it feels like I'm playing on 50 fps. Anubis in casual is especially bad. Same with Dust 2 sometimes.

If we played Ranked I'd bottom frag for sure. All those trolls who call me boosted now would have merit. I did SO bad those 4 hours of gameplay. So use to Valorant.

Not sure about the random drops, I feel like that I don't get many of them either. :/

Well keep in mind that in casual are up to 20 people, so 2x more than in comp. So there is a lot more to process for the pc and thus the fps actually is lower.

Oh, don't worry, performance doesn't matter, beeing non-toxic etc. is. :P

Deathmatch on Dust II.

Open the console (~), type "+right" or "+left" and do whatever else you would normally do with the game running. I did it before a shower last year and returned to a Recoil Case back when it was still worth like 2.50€, but I didn't bother when the prices completely dropped and I don't need to buy anything anymore.

I didn't touch the game for weeks, hoping that the longer you go without receiving a drop, the more likely you are to get it because you can get up to 3 in a week which is extremely rare, 2 is also really rare, but 1 is almost expected. Basically, I was just counting on some kind of a reset, that I'm now at the top priority for a drop since it's been forever since I got one.

I was expecting a case to drop about this time, I even thought that one might come any day yesterday and here it is. That's why I made sure not to get a drop this week or last week, so that I could have high chances of getting a new case as soon as it releases (again, getting 2 cases in 1 week is really rare and you'd have to play like 24/7) because that's when they're really expensive as you can see, currently around 10€.

Let's hope my plan works out.

Update: I had to go nuke the toilet and when I returned, I saw the notification just like I hoped it would... turns out it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Dreams & Nightmares piece of ♥♥♥♥, for ♥♥♥♥'s sake. And in the previous match, someone got the new one. ♥♥♥♥ off.
