BEST SETTINGS FOR CS:GO

Basically for the last 2 years I have switched settings back and forth every day or week, although I am a consistent player with that much change...its time to stop.

I want to invite as many people as possible so that as a community we help each other and get out of that black hole. Everyone is welcome. The plan is this: test some settings that could get your gameplay to the next level, and you guys can also recommend some settings if you want help. This can but doesnt have to be specific to CS:GO, as it can transfer the knowledge to other titles. Remember, the more people the better, of any skill level. And you can help testing even with just one thing. Ask any question in the comments.

Another reason is because no pro is willing to share any of their tips as to why they think a certain setting is the best, everybody is just quiet as possible...lets revolt.

config and game settings are known for most pros

Absolutely correct, although Im just surprised about the lack of testing or science behind it or even if there is...its not talked about enough

They have already tell us why they are using there settings they have or use.

I saw a few videos of Twistzz, Simple and Zywoo sharing their settings but Im not sure they explained why it works how it works...if you have some extra info about settings noone talks about but are super helpful feel free to share here👍

If I were to make a Discord group, would you like to share the ones you think are the best and could make a noticeable advantage against others?

This is unfortunately not a good bind. The 2 most basic keys are set to either quit the game or disconnect me from the server.

Hmmm if I were to make a Group with around 30-50 people to test them it had to be: resolution, tracers, sensitivity, left hand-right hand, certain crosshairs, palm vs claw vs fingertip...stuff that although is mainly cs related as you can see but with emphasis that you could transfer the knowledge to other games.

Launch option: -novid -nojoy +cl_forcepreload 1 +fps_max 300 +fps_max_menu 300

Then i just have my keys, mouse settings around 400-450 edpi & resolution at 1920x1440 4:3 full screen (no black bars)

No macro´s

No fancy or hokus pokus around that ..

I Download & play the game as it is atm i play the beta 1.38.5.0 !

It might be outsourced .. because it tells me that it needs to update all the time, might try the 1.37 instead or none

Btw. there are websites showikg you what settings pros use and how many use the same settings.

forcepreload doesn't exist anymore, limiting the fps to 300 is nonsens, 400-450 edpi os way too slow for nearly all player and just a hand full of pros use that because of their very specific tasks as a player, and the resolution is also not good.

And what you call "hokus pokus" are important and usefull optimisations but of course you don't use a jumpthrow bind because you don't know any util lineup, play only casual mode and throw your grenades randomly away.
