Screen blacking out when alt+tabbing
Do yall know how to stop screen from blacking out when alt+tabbing. My resolution is 1920 and 1440 both on csgo and my nvidia control panel. Im playing with stretch 4:3. Ive tried following various guides but the only thing that kinda works is to set my like screen size to a volume at which 2/3 of my screen is black from nvidia control panel but then the game aint stretched anymore.

Personally that's a 1080p 'issue'. When I was using 1440x1080, alt+tabbing would do the same as yours, and 'quit' in console would make it even worse, always getting a 3sec 'dead time' - can't hear ♥♥♥♥ on teamspeak, etc.
You don't depend only on your PC to run CS. Windows is a literal crack den, and CS updates sometimes change shxt you don't realize. I used to be able to play 1440x1080 with no stress, alt+tabbing, opening game and quitting fast af - now I can only do it with non-HD resolutions (less than 1080).
Is it the SSD?
Is it your hardware?
Was it the windows, graphic updates, or could it be CS updates resetting your settings? Despite resolution being mainly preference, I wouldn't try anything over 1080 in CS, as it seems to not make much of a difference, and the support for it is way less.
If it annoys you too much, and you can't find out what's wrong (like me lmao), try lowering your res gradually. I've been playing in 1440x1080 since 2017, had to change it to 1280x960 or some shxt like that. good luck

have you tried launch option "-disable_d3d9ex" since d3d9ex is enabled by default now

2 options:

1: stop playing with such idiotic stretched resolutions, it adds absolutely nothing, it only messes up your brain, and hand eye coordination.
2: if you wont change back to normal resolution that never give any problem, then just stop alt+tab.:steamfacepalm:

Why you persist in making it more difficult for yourself ?

I didn't, I'll do it now just because you were kind enough to advise it. I've taken so much random shxt from CS that if I can't solve a new problem in 5min I'll just shxt on it. From updates randomly resetting your shxt, to headphones not working because the game chooses to only recognize the speakers.. it gets to a point where when u get a new problem, it doesn't even register lmao
no se, no se ingles
