Random rank up?
So haven't played in since Friday, I was Gold Nova Master logged on today and was MG2, lost 2 matches in a row and deranked to MG1

I dont feel this random. When I was boosting acc I was winning 5 games in a row and easy rank up. Now I have 3 lost matches in a row and have not derank (still GE)

cs go system is watching how much time u spend in game, i think. If ur not playing so much it can derank you faster. U know, like not playing 1 month and lose ur rank instant

It's not about the derank that I'm confused about.. I'm very aware of how that system works lol.. it's how I didn't play for 2 days and I ranked up twice.

It's not about the derank that I'm confused about.. I'm very aware of how that system works lol.. it's how I didn't play for 2 days and I ranked up twice.
A few reasons as to why:
  • Someone has been playing on your account.
  • You're mis-remembering.
  • You're lying.
There is and has never been any bug out there that has people ranking up without playing. Lol

maybeyour previous derank were against people that did get VAC banned, so the loss was remove ?

That wouldn't cause rank ups. The losses are removed, not counted as wins.

just a luck or random. Cant say nothing. Anyway this system is awful. I needed to win 15 matches in a row to get my global back xd. Not that easy sometimes

2 years before when I was mg2 I was happy to get this rank. After this ranked up game I lost 1 and was deranked to mg1. Feels bad man. But yeah, sometimes its happening

Agreed, system is awful. I won 12 matches in a row before, lost the 13th and deranked... but I'm going to guess it was because I lost that 13th match to people with a much lower elo than me... and Ik CSGO doesn't use the elo systems but it's the only way I can describe it lol

Also depends on how consistently well you're doing to rank up as well. It's not all about wins/losses.

I lost my Supreme to a blatant cheater and didn't play a single game until he was caught the next day. I am now on a 17 win streak where all my games I've been doing 20+ kills and 10 deaths and no rank up. /shrug
