I do like the ones by filco. Simple and no nonsense. But it probably costs as much as corsair and razer.

I'd reccomend HyperX or even Redragon, something compact in my opinion

*Also off topic but nice choice on mouse and headset:HappyRacer:

I only like the Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2: Esports Gaming Keyboard - Ergonomic Wrist Rest - Razer Yellow Mechanical Switches (Linear and Silent).

Most other keyboards are just standard junk made for regular typing.

pro tip: keyboards with clicky keys aren't best for gaming. theyre best for typing.

@deathdragon keyboards were made for "regular typing" in the first place, theyre not junk because of it. :steamfacepalm:

Yes linear switches are optimal for gaming.

Sadly, you could not comprehend my post. The keyboard I use is optimized for gaming, while most aren’t.

I wouldn't even bother with a "gaming keyboard" to be honest. Gaming keyboards feel nicer when you press the keys and that is about it. The argument about superior build quality seems to be almost irrelevant too. I had 2 membrane keyboards all my life and i have been gaming since like 2004, while they were nice for simple typing keyboards, like 25 bucks, they are nowhere near as expensive as even an entry level gaming keyboard. I am supreme, have been global and have played at a high level as an amateur in older cs versions like 1.6 and css. Never did i feel hindered by my keyboard. It0s just a waste of money in my opinion, it's one of those things you buy because you can, not because you actually need to.

Technically, to play well at CS, you could use all cheap hardware and as long as you’re skilled, can reach high ranks in MM. But, we’re not trying to strive for good enough. Some of us want a competitive edge, even if it means the ever so slightest edge.

With my current setup, I can out snipe most wallers and decent legit AWPers. Could I do it with a free garbage keyboard I got 2nd hand for free? Of course! But, I may win a lesser percentage of the overall battles than I would otherwise.

I suggest you do not go into debt over a hobby. But, if you have discretionary income, it’s best used on hardware that may help give a slight advantage over skins that are for aesthetics only.

I use the SteelSeries Apex M750 TKL and absolutely love it, any high end mechanical will be great though theres not much between them other than switch types and thats personal preference for the most part

I'm using a Red Dragon keyboard which doesn't have the number pad on the side. It was like $80. Works well for me.

Zowie celeritas 2.
- goes nice with the mouse
- very responsive keys
- driverless keyboard.

I'm very happy with my Corsair K70, non clicky cherry mx red keys.

You can love your keyboard all you want but don't give me bs just to justify your purchase. First of all, you wouldn't be able to notice any actual delay and i don't know what kind of edge you think you are getting because you would have to be playing at an insanely high level to even be able to take advantage of sutch a negligeable difference in ms and i doubt you are that player. It's just not the same as with a mouse where you will not only feel it but the difference is not even funny. It's not that i use cheap hardware btw, my pc high end, i got a 144hz asus monitor, a logitech g 203 mouse, a razer mousepad, a logitech g pro headset and so on. There just isn't a good logical reason to spend so mutch money on a keyboard.
It's not that i hate them either, if i was extremely well off, i would probably get a nice mechanical kb myself but that is all it is, something you buy becasue you can, not because you need to.
