Can't shoot while moving (literally)
Hey guys,

I’ve been experiencing something quite annoying for about 2 weeks now. Just stopped playing because I’ll ragequit within a couple seconds when playing. I literally can’t shoot while I’m moving. And when I move there’s a second delay where I can’t shoot either.

I play on a laptop and it has been working fine for almost a year or so.

I tried alot of things but nothing seems to fix it.
-Different USB ports
-Different mouse
-Couple of console commands including +attack1/2 -attack1/2
-Delete/update drivers
-Delete mousepad/gesture control
-Remove mousepad delay
-Delete confiq
-Verify cache files
-Reinstall the game

I’ve narrowed the problem down to basicly mouse 1 and 2 not working while using the keyboard IN CSGO, because other games do NOT give me this problem. However when I bind the attack to mouse 3, 4 or 5 it works fine, same goes for when I put other keys as attack. I really have no clue what else to try.

Now please don’t give me smartass comments like “You shouldn’t be moving and shooting anyways“ because this issue also prevents me from basicly peaking and pre-firing. The only solution I currently know is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ all my binds up and get used to different keys for everything which I prefer not to do.

Anyone out there with any option I can still try?

If a diffirent mouse doesn't work, try a diffirent keyboard?

And just out of curiosity, which ones are you using.

Edit: Do you happen to play on a laptop?

Yes I do play on a laptop, but this hasn't been an issue until this problem occurred.
Laptop: Asus N750J (the game runs perfectly fine spec wise) + all drivers up to date
Mouse: Zowie Fk1

Edit: Oh yeah, keyboard is the built in one

Try this :

1. Hit Windows Key + W.
2. Then type "Mouse and Touchpad Settings".
3. Under Touchpad, change the delay to No delay (always on).
4. Once that is done, try it out in your games, it might work.

maybe go to processes in task manager(services) and set affinity for csgo to only one core of the processor and try again...or if the only one core is choosen, choose all of them...good luck!
if it works give feedback

Thanks, but I've already tried it and seems to make no difference

It was using all eight cores, so I set it to only one. It made no difference, still unable to shoot while moving unless I use different buttons to mouse1 or mouse2. Does it make any difference to which core I put it to? I just used the first one.

I dont know if this worked but there was a setting 4 me that was called highest sensitivty ( Translated dutch: Er stond Hoogste Gevoeligheid) and that fixed it for me! Thanks...
I fixed my problem, laptop too. I switched primary attack to 'MOUSE 2' and special uses to 'MOUSE1', takes some time to get used to it but it's alright for me

I found out how to fix it if you are playing in a laptop. Need to desactivate the touchpad from laptop, and play just with the mouse... in this way you can shot while moving or walking in cs go, using mouse 1 (left button)
