HELP Remove CS:GO Hacks completely

Hi guys,
my friend used to wallhack in cs:go so he got VAC-banned. After that he uninstalled the hack and bought a new account to play cs:go without hacks. Now that got VAC-banned as well. He disabled the restore point option in Windows 10 so he can't go back to a restore point before he installed the hack. Now he is reinstalling cs:go at the moment. He does not want to reset his entire PC, so is there anything he needs to do in order to get rid of that Hack entirely?
Any kind of help is appreciated.

I think theres no other way than a clean install of windows. Clearly there are files left behind

Well as I said, he never enabled the windows restore point feature so that should not be possible.

You need to reformat your hard drive. Honestly the best option is to do a factory reset because some hacks tend to leave traces on your computer.

It's kinda spooky isn't it? Valve can scan every file of your computer. Guess you guys are right. My idea was to install the hack on a VM to find out what the hack actually changes.

im sure the hack is gone as long as you disabled the hack within the game and then deleted the hack too what vac does is scan to see if there is another app open and if it doesnt know what it is it goes to the lab to see the coding and then puts it onto the game to see if its a hack if it is then it goes to there lists as a hack if not no so aslong as he dleted the hack and or doesnt have any kind of hack open at all while playing the game csgo then he will be fine. He uninstalled it and validated his cs:go files before buying his second account. It still got banned aswell.

its not like they will scan the whole computer than apply every single code into there game for testing to see if its a hack because there might be a cheat in a game that the devs put in there game or app and then they put it into there game and by luck it works with there game!
