if someone on steam chat asks you to do anything , anything at all, it will always be scam. You can confirm anything by asking the guy a question "why?" - why you want my items, they are not that good, why you want me on your team, I am a noob etc. They are driven by greed, so they can only explain their reasons in greedy terms
