CSGO India : Constant 1-8% loss on Casual and Competitive Servers

My friends and I (live in different cities with different ISPs) have suddenly started experiencing 1-8% loss on official servers (on casual and compi, not dm) for the last 2-3 days.

Note that it isn't just me, it's happening to all players (atleast the ones who are connecting to India- BOM). Ping is fine, internet is fine.

Edit: I have verified that this issue is only related to Indian servers as I'm getting 0% packet loss in Dubai and Singapore servers. (Used Matchmaking Server Picker to force connect)

Update:
There is a range of IP addresses that most big ISPs in India are using to route to Valve's CSGO servers present in Navi Mumbai: (For me, its 115.255.253.57) even when connecting with direct route to BOM. This is where the bottleneck is and the probable cause for the loss.

Chennai Servers (MAA) seem to be working fine for me as of now (using GameBanana's Matchmaking Server Picker to force connect). And I've done a tracert test on Chennai servers, they seem to have no bottlenecks for me.

Anybody who is facing this issue should raise an issue with their ISP and demand talking to their technical team.

You can perform the same tests as me by simply opening Command Prompt and typing the following:

tracert 155.133.233.98

Wait for the command the finish tracing and you'll have a list of IPs that your ISP is using to route to the final destination (CSGO MM server).

Now, in order to test which IP is causing the bottleneck, type:

ping -n 30 <IP ADDRESS>

For most people who are facing this issue, your bottleneck IP will look similar to this one: 115.255.253.57. You can then use these details in your complaint.


EDIT 2: Issue is fixed now. Seems like ISPs have rectified the bottleneck.

The loss is beyond the point of patience. Absolutely pathetic. Even the replay of death is skipped at times in loss

Can everybody raise a support ticket with Steam, I had raised one but they closed mine saying they do not have any information. But if everyone starts asking, they might be compelled to investigate the issue.

did you get automated reply or ? what was the reply to steam ticket? did you raise it under technical issue or something else?

I had raised it under "Game runs poorly" technical issue. Wasn't an automated reply.

its not new my friend it was there in CSGO too before, Indian servers are not that good
