Will playing CSGO on a virtual machine gets you banned/VAC?
I'm planning to run my steam in a virtual machine (VM) to play games and i wonder if anyone knows if that is allowed? I don't see why not but just to make sure.

the VM just runs the steam client so i can play games on it and dont have steam rrunning on my daily use OS since i like it as clean as possible.

Virtual Machines aren't even suppose to play Games on it, they are suppose to test things on it such as Operating Systems, Viruses, Malware etc basically "little tasks" without affecting your main Machine.

Then technically, it shouldn't get you banned but you might have to confirm with someone who would know better and uses VM. It might be useful to google it and see whether people have any information on it or whether Valve has confirmed that it will not get you banned.

I couldn't find anything so i'm asking it here if anyone else here does the same, if not i'll install steam on my main OS, no biggie.

As for VM usage, i use it for a few things already but mainly its deving/testing and not so much game related but i've seen yt vids and articles that shows around 90% native performance so it's not that bad and i want it to give it a try.

Stil question remains, does anyone know it its save to play csgo on a VM? I don't want to risk it.
