Hello everyboby.
Today im asking is CS GO safe to play today, because false vac bans?
I dont know if i want anymore to play with this expensive account becausei truly fear someboby reports me in overwatch and i will get false positive vac ban like my friend got.
This is my closest friends account with over 3000 gamehours in cs go and he got vacbanned. I trust him 100%

There is no such thing as a false positive VAC ban.

VAC and overwatch are two different systems. Read the pinned thread about bans for more information.

You can only get vac banned if you use cheats
Don't use cheats=no vac ban

Use cheats=Vac ban

It's simple, also every false positive vac ban=0,005% chance gets removed days later

And Overwatch dosen't give you any vac ban, they give you 1 mounth ban

There's no false VAC ban. VAC detects cheating softwares. If you're not cheater, you shouldn't be worry about it.

From the looks of it, your friend only got OW-banned. If VAC finds any cheats whatsoever he's gonna get Vac-Banned, which is permanent. If it doesn't, however, the ban will get lifted in one year, as far as i know.

So, you can play the game without having to fear getting banned, the OW-System only has a very low percentage of false poistives and VAC even less.

FOR ME it is expensive and dear :3
Listen, if you dont hack, you have nothing to worry about. Keep playing and enjoy the game.

There are no false positives. Stop cheating and you have nothing to worry about. I highly suggest even reformatting your computer just to make sure nothing is running in the background. And to give yourself a fresh start. Your friend was cheating. When someone is reported enough on overwatch, a case is made. That person doesn't just automatically get banned. Your friend was cheating, and you cheat. Your friend is already screwed. Just stop making this community worse, and stop cheating.

False positives actually do occur, but Valve usually fixes the issue within a few hours when they know something triggered it and it wasn't related to CSGO

VAC has nothing to do with being reported. No one can be trusted 100% and nearly all caught players will try to convince you they are innocent.

The VAC support page can find here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7849-Radz-6869

The VAC system reliably detects cheats using their cheat signatures. It is not unheard of that people with expensive accounts try out a cheat they have been convinced is undetectable, even pro's have been caught out by it during tournaments. Sorry to say, but your friend is most likely lying to you. I have a 12 year account with no VAC or Overwatch ban and I've been playing for years, but then I've never installed a cheat either.
