What's wrong with my sniper scope?

Whenever im using a sniper and scope in, my screen goes black. If I move, I can see through the scope but if I stop moving, the scope goes back to being black and I can't see. It happens whever I use any sniper's scope so im restricted from using them, as using a sniper is pointless due to this effect. This has been annoying me for the past 2 months or so and I really need someone to help.

Sounds like a bug. Verify your game files, and reinstall (if you haven't already)

Right click csgo in the steam library, properties, local files, verify.
