Save DEMO/Match as avi/mp4 file?
Hi,
when i want to record my gameplay (my view) i need to start the demo and record everyting with "fraps" and watch the demo about 50min to record everything.

Is it possible to save the demo/gameplay as avi?

From my view.

You'd most likely need a video converter. I use FormatFactory. It's free, And has the option to make really good XVid .avi files.

That one: http://www.pcfreetime.com/

I just told you and gave a link: Formatfactory. If you're using Fraps, You already have the source file.

I don't understand what the problem is, Then, As Fraps should automatically be making .AVI videos. If not, Then you don't have the proper codecs installed.

Csgo demo is not a video file and cannot be converted to one. It is just a summary of all actions that happen during a game (engine tasks), which get calculated by the engine and shown to you on your screen.

But there are 2 things i've heared... Demo and Gameplay replay. Or something like that.
It's just a waste of time to watch the gameplay 50min to record it.. makes no sense.

I use bandicam. Free software
Ham uwu 6969 May 27, 2016 @ 6:50pm
the demo is just a files that recorded everything happened.you will need the game engine to be able to decrypt those informations.
no way there is a software that can decrypt those info and build up a video when u have to render all texture and assets in game.

So it isn't even possible to export an AVI file from the CSGO-Ingame-Console ?
