Bitdefender detects some .dll files from CSGO to contain virues
Hi for the last few days when ever i try to play csgo i get into a game and during the game bitdefender minimizes the game and says that 3 infected files were detected.

soundemittersystem.dll
localize.dll
inputsystem.dll

Bitdefender say that the are infected with Gen:Varient.Razy.37534 but won't delete them it will just say that they are there. I have deleted the files and verified the integrity of the game cache and it still say that they are infected. I have scanned each file individually and it say they are clean. So does anyone know if this is a false positive and how to get around it.

P.S I have not tampered with the game files in anyway and i do not hack.

Thank you

Bitdefender doesnt do that. You or your pc is doing something to change those. I scan quite frequently with bit and malbytes and nothing.

add steam(folder) to your exclusions you are not going to get any malware from steam downloads.

What do you mean. The 60 second virus scanner detects those files as containing the virus and i also had the same problem with Gmod.
i am just asking if anyone else is experiancing that problem and if they have a work around

I told you add the steam folder to your exclusions.

You probably do have a virus then. Maybe the virus is changing those files. Reformat your pc. Bitdefender doesnt change random files

Ok thank you and but i am just worried that it may be a virus that was installed with something else.

a virus localised to a game folder.
seems legit.
it is a false positive 100%.

you will get a lot less VAC errors vpak errors and all that stuff if you add it to your exclusions.
win win.
