How to mute own mic?
So I just started playing CS:GO but I'm one of those people who really don't like to talk and just play the game/listen to the other people. How do I mute my mic completely (If not completely, just in every game.)

If your mic is set to push-to-talk... Just don't press your mic key.

Unless your headset has a button, there is no such option/command in-game.

Then again, you could bind the mic mixer volume "0.00" in your config.cfg (which is located in the userdata folder for the app 730) to a key.

1. use mic, csgo is about teamplay. those no mic guys are always bad generally because THEY GIVE 0 INFO
2. if still no - never press the mic button or set it at f4, and forget about it
but u SHOULD speak if u play matchmaking, in other cases like dm or gungame it's not really needed
btw if u wanna mute all on server use voice_enable 0 in console (voice_enable 1 to unmute), or voice_scale 0-1 or more to change volume of ur teammates' mics

Locate your mic key and "unbind <key>" in console.
