USP-S or P2000?
I'm currently struggling with which CT starter weapon to pick:

The 'USP-S' or the 'P2000'?

I've checked this site for their stats and technically the P2000 is superior: http://strike-counter.com/cs-go-stats/weapons-comparison?weapon1=5&weapon2=6

Yet, there are quite many people playing with the USP-S, but why? Are there any hidden stats?

I use the usp-s because (from personal experience) it has more utility. Also it one taps people without helmet up to a distance of 1800 units, which is huge. Don't know about p2k tho

Then use both in DM and decide for yourself whih one to go for.

The usps is better then p2k in the pistol round due to the 1 taps on the head from a far range unlike the p2k, tho the p2k is better on the closer range , just like the glock

More people probably use the USP-S due to its slightly better accuracy with only 1 less ammo per clip. The silencer is also good for surprises and it's easier to miss without the enemy noticing. The P2K is pretty much as good as the USP-S, though.

Depends if you are playing a more passive (USP) or a more aggressive (P2000) role

I recomend using USP-S. Why ?
Here's some reasons:
1. One tap kill (no kevlar+helmet)
2. Fast weapon

I honestly like the p2000 better because it has a lot of ammo, and when you have bad aim like me, those extra bullets make up for it

I always choose accuracy over ammo..that is why USP-S is better imo. Plus you get to improve your aim when you are forced to use low ammo weapons.

USP-S is not that much more accurate in short or mid range, but long-range it's gamechanging. USP should be used for a slower and more long-range playstyle, for example if you like to watch long on Dust 2, mid on Cache or A on inferno. P2000 is a more short-ranged weapon, has better accuracy when continuously firing, and is great for those who don't like to conserve ammo. tl;dr lower ranks p2k higher ranks usp-s is a possibility.

ACTUALLY -
The p2k has better accuracy stats to it, which is a huge misconception among the csgo community.
The reason that the usp is better than the p2000 is the silencer advantage.
As soon as you fire a bullet with the p2k, everyone knows where you are.

They are literally the same, except usp has a silencer and p2000 nas more ammo

lol mate your wrong. You just believe everything you read? it's a huge misconception that the USP is better for "range" aimers gun blah blah blah. The p2k actually has more range than the usp-s, better moving accuracy, increased ammo count. The main advantage of the usp-s is the silencer which is in fact the only big difference with the p2k your spot is blown the second you fire the gun, I don't think the silencer is that big of a deal especially in high level play. It is a slight edge though, I love both guns but I prefer the p2000. However I do switch from time to time.
