Let me explain what I mean: there's like 3 minutes to come back to match right? But Windows 10 after a crash takes over 10-15 minutes to update and restart and you cannot do anything. So this kinda doesn't make sense: there's no way to come back in 3 minutes unless you have a laptop and electicity comes back soon enough or you leave and rejoin on purpose.

Sure, it makes your team have trouble for some time and even though it's not your fault you cannot tell if this was on purpose or not so you have to give those 30 minute bans or so. I'm not asking you to remove my ban or anything since I rarely have this problem so I only get 30 mins.

But well: let me fu**ing play. If the match isn't over and I got banned from matchmaking for X time but I got back and want to play the last 3 rounds or so then let me rejoin if I wasn't kicked or banned for team killing. You could even take off a % off the cooldown for each round the player has played after he rejoined. Not anything big but something that'd maybe make it so you feel less of fu**ed in the ass due to your unluckyness.

If you ask me honestly I don't mind getting 30 minute cooldowns every few months but me fink this system is broken: nobody can rejoin that fast after electricity goes off unless he's on laptop and only has to wait for router to reset. Windows 10 likes to fu** you in the ass and tell you that you have an update to install and it's 100% 8) and then it goes to 15% D:. I think there needs to be some changes to this system so we can at least finish a game - because some people just wanna have fun and you penalize them not only with cooldown but unability to join your friends back after technical difficulties.

Sure that'd require some time to get that system working but we deserve more from you Valve. You get so much money from this game then make sure it's flawless just because YOU CAN.
Anyway my cooldown is almost gone. Did I deserve it? No, but it doesn't mean I shouldn't get it because I SHOULD. I didn't do anything wrong I just got unlucky and my team as well because they had to play with a bot. If you'd just please, let me finish my games even if I got banned for not reconnecting in time. Ban me from searching for a game in any lobby mine or not: not joining a game that's ongoing and I DCed due to technical difficulties.

procedes to tell us how its his fault he got a ban claims ban is not his fault... im done your electricty is your responsibility not valves so fix it or dont play when theres a risk of it going out

new players really should be required to learn the rules and how the cooldown system works before they play comp mode

make it part of a training course or something that you have to complete before you are able to play comp mode and make them sign off on it with a digital signature

all these threads by new players crying about cooldown bans could be avoided if they were forced to learn the rules because it doesnt seem like they are gonna do it on their own

My pc loads up in about 40seconds, steam loads up in a minute (longest process) and csgo loads up in like 15 seconds. You need an upgrade if it's taking 15 minutes
