Is 10.5 cm/360 too high?
I use this sensitivity for everything. Thinking about getting into GO and wondering if 10.5cm/360 or 1335 DPI is too high. I want to use a uniform sens for everything, so playing scout in TF2 at 800DPI is barely tolerable, and 400 is impossible.

EDIT:What's with the whole "move 1 px at a time" malarky? That's literally impossible.

you need 10 cms to do a 360? I merely flick my wrist ever so slightly and boom a full 360 is done. My sens 5400 DPI in game 2.0. my accuracy is no issue due to being an old UT, Quake 3, Tribes, 1.6 vet so i like my mice twitchy (I blame the Quake 3 railgun for that)

For lower DPI it appears as low as in game sens as possible while the DPI can be up to the user until comfort is found

for myself 10cms per 360 is way way to slow and would be useless in any twitch shooter which the CS series used to be now its a "Tactical shooter"

Thing is we cant really help you with that you need to feel out the game for yourself because each players got their own feel for the game

If you're comfortable with that setting and able to track decently, why not use it?

there is no wrong sensitivity, just the right one for you!

I just hear people say that you have to be able to move 1px at a time, not even at the lowest setting is that humanly possible. I can still hit headhots with the AK and snipe well in TF2, and my airshots as soldier have acually went up with my DPI.

to do 1px per movement is rather simple. Drop the in game sens to 1 and youll notice your mouse will move the camera nearly identical to the speed of an analog stick. to speed it up raise the DPI until you're comfortable.

That's so low I need to pick my mouse up 2 times to do a damn 180, nevermind attacking someone behind me.

that is what 1px per movement feels like and why we never used it back in the quake 3 days despite the parrots claiming otherwise. A good DPI for speed is 1.5 in game sens and 1800 dpi on the low side with 2500 on the high side for new twitch shooter gamers.

with practice you learn to make twitch 180s and 360s with a mere 1.5-2 cms of movement of your wrist. and with enough practice you can take 2-3 enemies down before being killed due to being more tense with the twitchy nature.

This is how I play, usually. It relies on my fast judgement and the dead accuracy of a good mouse to keep up, not dragging my arm 20 feet to score a headshot on the full uber medic or terrorist with an AWP.

I recommend lowering it gradually at a pace you're comfortable with until it feels right. Larger movements are gonna be awkward at first, but will start feeling natural pretty soon.
I use 480 DPI and 1.5 sensitivity, but most players I know use slightly faster settings.

then keep practicing. A twitch shooter never becomes a master at the task there will always be someone faster that is the drive to keep practicing. practice practice, oh did i mention more practice?

I myself practice twitch shooting via UT, Quake 3 and CS-GO and in CS-GO its the only one ive been called a cheater because my model spins as if i were high as a kite but thats due to years (decades) of twitch shooter experience.

example i run into a guy in my front and rear i take the one in front out first quickly strafe to my left or right and twitch 180 peg the guy behind me and his third buddy on my flank is easily just as dispatched due to my twitchy nature.

its too high for csgo ....sensitivity is preference but youre way out of the boundries of preference xD

heres a guide that will help you
eDPI = you dpi x the in game sens so 2.5 in game and 400 dpi = 1000 eDPI

you should have a eDPI of no more than 1600 and no less than 480

an example of this would be like this:

for the 1600 eDPI your sens would be 800 dpi and 2 in game sens or 400 dpi and 4 in game sens
I consider this to the be absolute maximum you should ever consider taking it as it is a VERY high sens for csgo

480 eDPI would be like 1.2 in game sens and 400 dpi this is considered extremely low sens and mainly awpers use these types of sens

my sens is 1.81 400dpi which is 724eDPI which is close to the average sens of csgo as its not too high and not too low just right for my rifle game :D

btw heres me using 1.81 and 400dpi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bo0VN0QSfU4

thats using fribergs training aim settings as he does on the wall :D he is also on youtube doing this map with these settings and his eDPI is 880 as he has a in game sens of 1.1 and dpi of 800

hope this helps you :D

Well If you really wanna go "pro" at csgo there aren't setting for other games because CSGO is a game where you're using your WHOLE arm to aim not just your wrist (this is TL;RD version) so bacisly you want to play at lower dpi/sens to perform good.

The recommended is to be able to move 180 degrees in one movement
