[Need Help!] How to Disable windows 10 Xbox // Gaming DVR ???

Ive recently gave windows 10 a try and its driving me crazy.

CSGO is just having a very wierd mouse feeling. Almost feels like playing with vsync.
Or just like DayZ as the acceleration was still messed up.

Anyway,
ive searched trougth the internet and found out that it might be caused by the stupid XBOX app.

So since u cant uninstall it by using the GUI u have to work around that.



*The first thing ive tried was using the Powershell and removed all the xbox apps. (Wich seemed to work but in the end it was still there)
*Then ive downloaded WindowsAppRemover and gave it a try but it didnt work.
*Nxt step was using a .ps1 script to remove it via Powershell. - Xbox app still on.
*As i was almost out of ideas ive disabled it @ the registry and changed the system premission so it cant be activated again. But to my very surprise even then it was still on.
*And with my very last try ive decided to delete all files of the app inside the WindowsApp folder.
As that didnt work ive just renamed the folder.

But even now it still shows that stupid green game recorder notification when i enter CSGO.
How is this even possible? And how the ♥♥♥♥ does microsoft even think that this ♥♥♥♥ would be useful?


Please some1 help me to remove this software trash im going crazy.

cant you just go into the xobox app then work your way through the options until you find game dvr and turn it off?

I dont have that GUI on my system anymore but for some reason it keeps loading.

If you have Windows 10:
Click Windows icon > Scroll down to Xbox app > Open it > Go to options > Disble DVR
or follow this guide if you don't have Microsoft account or if you are lazy :P

I dont have this Folder anymore.
And when i try to inport it, it tells me that this reg file im trying to use is corrupted.

Seriously i want to bite my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ keyboard.

Pressing Windows+G inside the steam browser have done the trick.
Ive just disabled every single thing using this gui.

Windows gets worse all the time.
I hope the game runs smooth now otherwise im gonna "ragequit".

but that tool changes the registry so it messes with it ;D

Virustotal says its clean, but I still wouldn't trust his exe. Just use the reg file that nugget posted, it works and it's safe for sure.

It's open source, so feel free to check what it does, but in general, you are right, I myself, wouldn't trust such software without having an access to the sources.
