Can you play CS:GO as a casual game?

I have a friend who wants to buy CSGO but to play it as a casual game as same as COD , BF , TF2 , Crossfire , etc. More exactly he said that he don't like Competitive Mode because it is too repetitive and if you don't play anymore you lose all the progres ( you derank )...personaly example , i hadn't played for 1 year and now i am silver...actually my derank influenced him to don't play competitive , he saw that i derank and he is afraid that this think will happend also at him...anyway lets start the discussion
Can he play CS:GO as a casual game?...but a casual game in which you get rewards because i know that he don't play games like CS1.6 because you don't have rewards and he said that if there aren't rewards you don't have why to play (he is not a just for fun guy). I made some questions to be easier :
1-DO YOU THINK THERE ARE ENOUGH GAMEMODES TO BE A CASUAL GAME???-Without the competitive mode which he won't play there are others 4 official gamemodes : deatchmatch , casual , demolition and arms race . I think all these gamemodes are fun but there are just 4....in mostly of the casual games there are over 10 gamemodes . So what do you think? Will he agree this?
2- DO YOU THINK THERE ARE ENOUGH MAPS TO BE A CASUAL GAME???-I know that in CSGO there are over 50 maps but you can play about just 20 because the others are from operations...also i know that every time a new operation is published the maps are free but just for a period of time. Do you guys think that he will agree this ?
3-DO YOU THINK IT HAS CASUAL CONTENT???-In mostly casual games the players get weaponts and cosmetics as a reward if they play . In CSGO i think the casual content is represented by the skins and cases from the drops , the service medal and the achievements...but do you think these 4 can satisfy a casual player . Also i know that mostly the drops are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥t and the service medal is just for 1 year , the next year is another one. So do you think that this things can make CSGO a casual game ?
4-HOW LONG IS THIS CASUAL GAME ?- As i said , he wan't a game in which you get rewards for playing. I can say that it will take about 1000 hours to get the covert service medal , but this just for 1 year , so it will take you about 1000 hrs per year to get the ultimate service medal.....However the service medals are like level...yes , it represented content , but not as a practic thing like the skins...but the thing is that mostly of the drops are ♥♥♥♥....because of this he can give up.
+He said that he agree if there are less gamemodes and maps because sometimes he can play an unofficial gamemode on a comunity server and on a comunity map although there aren't reward, just 4 fun...but just sometimes , he will usually play the official gamemode to make level and skins...so this is my question :CAN YOU PLAY CS:GO AS A CASUAL GAME BUT IN WHICH YOU HAVE ALSO REWARS , NOT LIKE IN CS 1.6 WHERE YOU PLAY ALL THOSE GAMEMODES FOR FUN...LIKE IN TF2 FOR EXAMPLE?
5-DOSE ARE ENOUGH WEAPONTS TO BE A CASUAL GAME?-Compararive with others casual games CS:GO hasn't so much weaponts...yes you can play with every each weapon in the game (exept the knifes) but there are fewer weaponts . So do you think that a casual gamer can agree this?
