In HL:Alyx.
No idea why you thought an old game would have a new engine.

So? Many people also say that the earth is flat. Do you believe them too?
I expect anyway source 2 to be implemented for cs go as well, can't wait for a vac wave xD

It might be the 18th May where you are, but it's not where Valve are. And that's besides the point, because it's not even confirmed yet.

IF Source2 is to be brought into CSGO, I would imagine it will be part of the next operation as it would act as a decent selling point for the game and likely bring the numbers up past record levels again.

give up dude the days of signature detection and those huge vac waves are long gone for the vac team and any major p2c. They usually rely on server sided waves now or sig detection for smaller cheats and those aren't that big so the ban count is low.

Rumours said that it will be a new vac system. Is rumours. I heard someone said it on live twitch.
But Source 2 must be on. Ban waves though aren't big deal. Is just numbers but not facts in long-term.
Maybe they will ban 10 mil of players tomorrow but , some of them ( most of them ) will come back , same fresh new account and few hours in last 2 weeks and thats it.

dota 2 got a new engine and csgo now has more players then dota 2 and makes valve alot of money so it makes sense that they will update there most popolar games engine

The thing that I've heard is that most of OW bans don't get you banned like instantly ( maybe 2 % of cases ) but some can take 1 or 2 months before you get banned, that's the issue. Instead , ban instantly cheaters who were reported by overwatch players few times.

During 1 month or 2 , they can cheat all day long and destroying other players game.

Do you think that on CSGO website those 26 mil ''NEW PLAYERS'' are exactly each of them new ?

Dude , stop listenting to everything , CS:GO beated Dota just by 100.000 - 200.000 players.
CS:GO is FULL of cheaters, these days you see more cheaters than real good players.
Not because I have red trust , but watching big players lives or even my friends. Thats the problem.

yeah, ow bans are delayed but i depends on a case to case basis. Although it is very rare its possible to get banned within an hour as well, but most of the time it takes a day or 2. These days though you can rage and not get put into the queue at all because it is flooded from cheaters spinning on f2p accounts from non prime. Many of those spinners can spin for up to a week or more before finally getting a ban.
