to your graphics card: git gud PS. WTF ARE YOU DOING (jk)
to you: wtf why are you using a hdmi cable for 144hz it only (theoretically) supports 120hz and good luck trying to get a hdmi cable that supports it irl and to make it even more difficult hdmi cannot into overclocking to 120hz only 75hz (from my testing) and also what dp level anyway (1.2, 1.3 or 1.4) and make sure the graphics card, the cable and the monitor are the same version.

You have a DVI port as well, use that on your monitor, if I remember correctly, hdmi only allows 60hz @1080p
Use dvi or display port to get 144 hz hdmi is restricted to 60 hz

The DVI/Displayport signal is digital; you're paying way too much for a cable. Even bent coathangers would carry a digital signal with no loss (digital signals are either 100% or 0%.)

Get the cheapest dual link DVI or DisplayPort cable you care to get. Don't go super overboard.

HDMI and single link DVI does not have the bandwidth for 1920x1080 @ more than 60hz. You need Dual Link DVI; or the newest standard, which is DisplayPort.
