Well I do think that brax should be unbanned, given that he is such a young talent in the NA scene.

However, even though it might an official rule from the organisers of the competition, it is simply the golden rule of every competition in the world that you never "match-fix".
On the other hand, as thorin and several others has said before (go check out his video), there could be different degrees of punishment for the different players (/culprits). It is true that people like steel and dazed initiated the discussion about whether they should throw, and brax felt a lot of pressure.
Again I am not saying that valve must unban him.

No, if you break a rule, you live with the consequences

Hey ♥♥♥♥♥♥, no rules were set in place by valve NOR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ therefore making what they did only morally wrong. There have also been numerous other matches thrown that have had no consequences as a result. Some cheaters are even allowed to play at Valve Sponsored tournaments again (i.e. moe) making it almost retarded that the IBP players not be unbanned.

Match fixing is fraud. In the real world people who commit fraud get about 10 years prison time.

The permanent ban should stay.

Life ban? Its game + its like a vac ban they were convicted for fraud so they are permanently banned for tournaments.
