Is CSGO community the most toxic in gaming?

Played a lot of games through my life, many multiplayer games from FPS to RTS and MMO.
Even gave LoL and DOTA2 a try tho it's not my type of game. I played Counter-strike way before it got all this attention, back when i even skipped school somedays to go to a cybercafe with some friends to play Half-Life: Counter-strike mod. CSGO was a huge step forward, talking about graphics and fame. It's not only the most played online FPS but also one of the most competitive e-sport games ever made.
But the community is just...trash. I'm not saying everybody but mainly...it's the most toxic community i've ever seen. From hackers infesting high-rank competitive plays to squeaky kids cryin on the mic insulting everybody because no one wants to follow his orders since he barely can score a kill at pointblank with a pro90. What's your opinion on the matter? Can it go worse than it is ATM? Or maybe CS:GO is just passing through some bad years?

Did try both games since i'm the "let's try it out" kind of player, didn't like em, toxic as f**k yet not so much as CSGO

Nah, L4D 2 community is/was just as toxic, if not even more.

People are horrible everywhere. The reason why you think this community is the most toxic, is because this one is, based on your own words, the only one game you've gone very in-depth and really experienced the whole package.

Believe me, the package is the same everywhere. Be it a real-world workplace, a whole nation or country or the farthest corner of internet, people are horrible.

Every competetive game is toxic , league of legends EUW probably most.

Worse than this is unconceivable, but I don't find it that bad, at least not as often, maybe I'm just lucky then. Sometimes I get kids on my team that ruin my fun, othertimes I get pitted against a wannabe-pro team, altough they are GN or worse, and talk trash all game. But otherwise teammates are 90% neutral or better, but maybe on higher ranks there are more hackers and tension, I guess. Every popular game will get a toxic community, even Rocket League is getting pretty toxic, with the recent rank reset, there have been times were I wanted to murder some people. I guess we just are gonna have to deal with it.

Don't worry, heard LoL squakers, ragers etc are switching to Overwatch so if you play LoL give it a couple of months so kids cry enough for daddy to pay 40 for overwarch and you can play relaxed xD

Gotta love those, specially when i'm the top fragger and the "boss" of the team is bottom fragger , tries to command the team, gets killed the first 5 seconds of the round, i survive them all and he starts screaming that i'm a noob because i didn't rush the AWP on mid. #MLGProTactics

I heard it's real bad in the higher cs:go ranks, never been there but then again it is not my priority to ever get there :)

It's a hell. I was N4/MG a year ago (Deranked due to rank changes and me starting to play like ♥♥♥♥) and i played sometimes with some DMG guys, the higher the rank the worse it gets. I remember some guys don't even try to hide it, just go spining, bunnyhopping and making aces with a pistol. Anyway that's a rare way of thinking you got there, usually most CSGO players priority is to get to high rank haha, sound like you play to actually have "fun" and that's not really common these days on this game xD
