Knife not painted

I recently realised that there is one special condition for knife which is not painted.
Is it the least rare one? I saw the cost on the market is relatively cheap.

Its called vanilla knife and its not that rare tbh most rare are doppler sapphire and ruby knifes and case hardened blue gems.

Common mistake for new traders. Most rares are actually stattrak fac new nights and boreal forests. Boreal forest is extremely rare in factory new stattrak

That means not painted knife is even worsened than battle scarred one?

Sometimes a non - painted knife can be worth more than one that is painted - for example, a 'vanilla' Karambit is around 279 USD, while the cheapest painted karambit is around 100 dollars. It depends with each knife.
