Steam wallet balance is negative
So I apparently got a chargeback from the vanguard pass that is extremely old and then I purchased an item that was about the money I received and it was fine after the purchase. Now later in the evening Steam charged me 4.78 for literally nothing, when I go to the transactions it shows nothing. Steam Support won't help me because, they practically have no support. What should I do?

if you did a charge back , you owe that money to steam , it has nothing to do with whatever you bought after the fact .
you actually committed fraud by doing a chargeback to free up money to buy something else ,
i wonder if you'll get a trade ban or have your account restricted

But I automatically received the money, having no idea where it came from. How is this supposed to be my fault? Can I fix it by adding money to my steam wallet?

it's your bank , your account , you are responsible .
banks dont do chargebacks on their own , you had to ask them to do it

It doesn't matter what you pay with, the money goes into your steam wallet and it just adds up

so if per say the steam account is restricted, and the wallet has -4.78, upon paying lets say $5, will it become unrestricted, or will the balance only change?
