but how does it work?
The ways I know you can get a stattrak are by unboxing one from a case, trade with someone you know (or thats on the trading disscussions), or just go buy one off the steam market.
I hope this helps, and anyone else reading this if I gave wrong info or forgot somthing please chime in.
You get an item from the same collection as the items you put in I believe it's a straight % chance when you use items from multiple collections so if you put in 9 from the Pheonix Collection and 1 from the Huntsman you would have a 90% chance of a Pheonix item and 10% of a Huntsman.
You cannot use an item that is the top tier of the collection it is in (for example the Tec-9 Red Quartz, it is the highest rarity in the Train collection so it cannot be used in trade up contracts at all).
You are NOT guaranteed the quality of the item, only the tier, i.e. if you put in 10 Factory New weapons you could get any other wear quality, such as Battle Scarred.
It helped me a lot. I did not even know this :P. I just have a StatTrak M4A4 Faded Zebra, and I want to trade it for StatTrak M4A4 Zirka - but you know. So I hoped I can somehow get it thanks for this "Contract Trading/Crafting"
