How do i force CS:GO to load config file?

I've followed this guide http://www.pcgamer.com/2014/02/04/how-to-configure-counter-strike-go-for-the-maximum-competitive-advantage/ ,but CS:GO won't load the config file...what should i do?

oh well...it is not working....still got the default crosshair and minimap,but thx anyway

Right Click CSGO>Properties>Set Launch Options and
Put in +exec NAME.cfg

well looks like i am cursed.....didnt work :D

Create a autoexec.cfg file and put file in cfg folder - Then type in console exec autoexec anytime you connect the game. Make the file read-only.

If you put +exec autoexec.cfg in SET LAUNCH OPTIONS... will not work.

maybe ur cfg commands are wrong.

type in console exec name
exec name.cfg doesnt work :) so just leave out the ".cfg". dont know if it works that way in launch options though

You must add to your launch options: -console +exec cfgname
Don't add .cfg at the end.
