Now you can't delete the skins. You can either trade/gift them to friends or use them in trade up contracts.
You can still delete sticker capsules and a few other things.
UGH that's soooo stupid of a reason. They should change it back so you can delete skins. I have tons of junk skins that will NEVER be worth more than a penny and they're simply taking up space. Also, don't they realize that it'll just clog up inventories in the long run? The whole idea of deleting stuff from your inventory is so you don't run out of space, especially since they reduced inventory sizes to 1,000 items for CS:GO.
Do you know when they made that change?
Because I can?
Might sell them eventually or use them for something. They're just leftovers I get from lounge betting.
It'll eventually take up the space of everyone's inventories. They need to put the option back into the system. If you don't wanna delete your knife you should be smart about it and reorganize your inventory when you go to delete stuff or better yet, just use the filter option so the expensive stuff doesn't show up when you are doing stuff.
Instead of adding another buffer as a safety measure, they just decided to remove the option completely. That's just lazy as all hell.
They could've put in an additional confirmation window with a big ass warning sign if you're about to delete something valuable.
Or, an even better idea, set up a Recycle Bin which deleted items are put into and make a 10 day waiting period until they're deleted permanently so you can review what's being deleted to make sure or just in case you change your mind. I'm sure people would get behind this idea.
P.S. I know I'm resurrecting an old thread but I think it's still relevant.
