What's between Noob and Pro
What do you call Average players? Just average? Is there a slang or something?

Every average player sees themselves as a pro or a noob. So there was never a need for a name.

I personally call them "better than me" because I am terrible at this game. As to something like "noob" or "pro", I personally haven't heard any thing used to describe average.

The correct answer here though is. There are only 2 catergories of player; professional and amateur. Only people who are paid to play can call themselves professionals, the rest of us are just amatuers. Each of these catergories would have a ranking system from bad to good, with good amatuers turning into pros under the right circumstances.

Considering how noob nip was during start of esl, it's pretty obvious why he used it.
