I hit the target, blood splatters, but no damage, ping normal
The Title says the whole problem...
it's like 80% in the game now. I shoot, hit the target, blood everywhere, but when I die, because he shoots me to death then, I see that he got still 100 Health. It's no single person I shot, it may be be hundreds by now. My ping is around 25-40, so it should be fine. Console doesn't say anything.
What can I do ?

Yes mate, every server. It's not you trust me, we all have the issue. Yet those with 80+ pings are just fine when it comes to hitting you... -___________-

Enjoy the 64 tick.
Try playing on community servers with 128 tick and see the difference.
Also did you set your rates properly?

P.S. Maybe you just have really bad movement.

Same thing here. Hit detection is just awful.. We can do nothing, Servers should have more tickrate, 64 isn't enough. But tickrate isn't the only problem of hit detection.

Playing with bots, every shoot hits, playing with real players, 70% shoots didn't detected even if wall behind player is full of blood.

I have this issue and I have under 80 ping. People walk by corners running headshot, I stand still shooting at them and no damage lol. It is what it is, no idea why valve isn't fixing this already. It's been denied before, but the demos clearly showed that the server is just doing what it wants with our info rather than counting it.

It's packet loss. It has very little to do with tickrate.

128 only makes big difference with very low pings and on lan.

That's a local issue. 99+% of my shots register on 64 tick.

no WIFI, direct Internet connection through cable.

I testet my paket loss through cmd but it was 0%
