Lag at the beginning of every round, Ping spiking

It seems to have started with this new steam layout update.

This happens in Casual and Competitive

idk why but today after the new update for steam (layout), CSGO got so laggy and its never been like this...
I think its the new update for steam, who knows.

I'm getting random ping spikes to 1500~ ms for about 10 seconds then it goes back down, has nothing to do with my internet. I've had speedtest open in the background waiting and tested right when it started, got 12ms per usual while still at 1k+ in-game. Firewall disabled.

yea, this is starting to annoy me.

I know Im not the only one since I see maybe 2 or 3 other people on the server start the round with high pings then level out.

For me it starts EVERY ROUND with 250 ping and kinda goes down to about 80.

Before the update I had 50-60 ping at highest

I have a similar issue.
I would join a competitive match and have a totally avarege ping in the time where everyone buys weapons and such. But as soon as i start walking, my ping explodes into the air!
It then may drop a little, but as soon as i then see an enemy and start shooting, my ping will go all the way up to 700+ ping.

This makes the game totally unplayable.
