Saw that one, 30 minutes spent by painting it all up, worth it :D
Unless you spend every waking minute on the market to get the cheapest possible price for 10 items. The way they've made it now(or the market has gone) the trade up contract is more fun but more expensive.
Also, it will be random vs. you buying EXACTLY what you want.
Currently I only use the trade up contract for drops I get that I don't want or purchases I made that I no longer want. Even then, it's better to sell the items individually because you can make back a few extra cents opposed to the value of the one trade up contract item.
This is of course assuming you aren't extremely lucky and trade up to some crazy rare item that is worth 1 billion dollars!
